The annual Desmond-Fish Library used book and media sale in Garrison opens on Aug. 16 with a preview for members of the Friends of Desmond-Fish (you can join at the door). The public is invited to attend starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 17. Most books are $2 or less each; there is also a “specials” section with inexpensive collectible titles.
